Do I need to see a doctor? What kind of doctor?
I have had horrible skin forever and have been treated with every antibiotic known to man, all of the creams and gels, and even Accutane. I have mystery rashes that come and go at random intervals. It looks like I have blood pooled under my skin. My skin is covered in white spots, some are raised and my skin itches. When living on the east coast I had huge infections where my skin bled and itched and had the bloody rash. I have hot flashes that last up to an hour, night sweats, chills, weight loss, rock hard lymph nodes, hair loss and fatigue. The doctors I have seen brush it off to stress. The dermatologist just said I had sensitive skin and I am acne prone. I have seen another dermatologist, had two biopsies taken, and was told I had a fungal infection of the hair follicles. I went back and was told I had acne even though I am worse. I have also had surgery for endometriosis. I tested negative for hormonal or thyroid problems but I am still getting worse. What is happening to me? I was told by a nurse to get tested for candida but I can't find a doctor who will even keep an appointment! I can't reschedule on a whim due to my work schedule. I'm sick of living with this and can't cope with the symptoms anymore.
